Every bifold gapes once it's full. The fold takes all the strain, the spine loosens, and after a few months it sits in your pocket half open with the top card working its way out. This one has a leather tab and a metal press stud across the opening edge, so the stud holds it closed and the fold doesn't have to. The spine stays flatter for longer as a result.

The body is a bit more structured than our plain bifold, so it holds its shape instead of slumping when you take everything out of it. Outside there's the stud and nothing else. No branding, no contrast panel, tonal stitching.

Questions people ask

Does the stud make it bulky?
It adds two or three millimetres right at the closing edge. Across the body of the wallet, nothing.

Is it slow to open?

Will the stud scratch my phone?
If they share a pocket, eventually, yes. That's true of any wallet with metal on it. Keep them apart.

How is this different from the plain slim bifold?
Same shape, but this has the tab and a firmer body. The slim bifold is thinner with no hardware at all.
