Buying a wallet here is easy. Buying one that lasts is not.
That sentence is the whole reason this shop exists. We work out of Karachi, we sell leather goods, and we stock only the kind still worth carrying two years from now.
Most of what sits on a shelf in this country is not leather.
It is sold as leather, priced as leather and it behaves like leather for about a month. Then it does the same thing every time.
What you usually get
Bonded scrap and coated split
Leather dust and offcuts, glued to a backing and sprayed with a grain pattern. In the shop it looks right and it feels close enough.
By the second month the finish is flaking off the corners. By the sixth the stitching has let go at the fold, and you are in another shop buying another one.
What we sell
Real cowhide, outside and lining both
No bonded backing. No plastic pressed to look like grain. If it is in our shop, it is hide all the way through, and we will tell you which hide.
Stitching is doubled along the fold, because that is where a wallet always fails first. Everything else we do follows from that one decision.
A small range, and small on purpose.
We opened with six men's wallets. There are more now, a few for women, and one handbag that we are prouder of than anything else we have made.
It is easier to be certain about sixteen things than about two hundred. Ask us which one holds more cards and you get an answer rather than a guess.
Things most shops leave you to assume.
None of this is difficult to say. It is just easier to sell if you do not say it, which is exactly why we do.
Lizard, croc and ostrich are patterns, not skins
Every one of them is embossed into cowhide, and the listing says so in plain words. We would rather tell you now than have you work it out later.
Kid cow is not ordinary cowhide
Finer grain, softer in the hand, still hard wearing. Two of our wallets are made from it and we name which two, and explain the difference.
Every size on this site is a measured size
Closed and open, in centimetres and in inches. Where a piece has not been measured yet, the listing says exactly that instead of printing a number we invented.
The questions on each product page are real
They are what customers actually send us on WhatsApp, answered the way we answer on WhatsApp. Nothing invented to fill space.
It will not look new for long. That is the point.
Tan darkens toward honey. Smooth black picks up a soft shine exactly where your hand holds it. A raw edge goes a shade deeper every few months, and unevenly, because nobody holds a wallet evenly.
Grain and tone vary from hide to hide as well, so no two pieces leave here identical. None of that is a fault. It is the whole reason to buy this material instead of the cheap alternative, and it is why real leather looks better in its second year than in its first.
How to look after itFind us
Ask before you buy. Ask after. Either is fine.
We answer everything within a working day, and we would much rather spend five minutes telling you a wallet is wrong for you than take the order and have it come back.
